On September 13, 1899, Webster enlisted in the 46th Regiment, United States Volunteers. He rose to the rank of sergeant major, serving two years in Cuba and the Philippines. Upon his return from military service, Webster married Ethel B. Tuttle on October 5, 1901 at South Framingham, MA. Webster operated an auto repair shop in Framingham until his death on February 8, 1916, when his car was truck by a train in Northboro, MA. These materials were collected and preserved by Edward C.
