Young woman standing at table, resting right hand on chair back, left hand holding book with one finger holding place. Woman is wearing long dress with a sparse floral pattern. Book and papers lying on table. Small window in back wall. "Jules Goupil" in lower left. "F. French Sc" in lower right. Signed in pencil below image "Frank French / Sc.", right.
