- Spectacles in case. Pince-nez with circular yellow-tinted lenses and brass rims. Brass ring on outer side of each lens. In open-ended brown leather case. Leather stamped in gold on front: "BROWN BURPEE / KENNARD BLOCK / MANCHESTER, N.H.", with image of Old Man of the Mountain wearing spectacles.
