- Cigar box, R. G. Sullivan, Inc., Manchester, NH, c. 1940. Rectangular heavy cardboard box covered with faux-grained printed paper. Cover is detached. All sides and cover imprinted "R.G. SULLIVAN'S / DEXTER" in black. Interior of cover has blue and orange printed label, "RGS / R.G. SULLIVAN'S / DEXTER / R.G. SULLIVAN, INC." Each end has blue and orange printed label, "RGS / R.G. SULLIVAN'S / DEXTER" with "LONDRES" on one end and "LIGHT" on the other. On interior, each end is imprinted "R.G. SULLIVAN'S / DEXTER / MANCHESTER, NEW HAMP."; one long side imprinted "R.G. SULLIVAN'S / DEXTER / UNION MADE"; other long side imprinted "9¢ DEXTER 9¢". Bottom exterior stamped "Factory No. 57 District of New Hamp. 50 / R.G. SULLIVAN Inc. / MANCHESTER - N.H. / Factory No. 57 1st. District / State of N.H. 50" with additional text regarding tax stamps. Green tax stamp adhered to exterior of one long side, "THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE / 67 1/2 / CENTS / TOBACCO PRODUCTS TAX". Handwritten ink inscriptions on cover: "CHECKS" on exterior and "11¢ 2-21" on interior (below printed "9¢", which is crossed out).
