- Pillow. Made by Roberta Ayotte, Sandwich, NH., c. 1960. Woven wool. Square. Red, purple, and yellow-green stripes on one side; red and purple on other side. White cotton label stitched to red/purple side, imprinted "HANDWOVEN / Ayottes' Designery / CENTER SANDWICH, N. H." Printed paper tag tied to one corner with string, imprinted "AYOTTES' DESIGNERY / CENTER SANDWICH, N.H. 03227", with "AD" monogram; inscribed in ink, "18" PILLOW / $24.50". Back of tag imprinted "A work studio / and shop specializing / in original handweaving / and related crafts."
