- Hand-colored photograph of road through Kinsman Notch, NH, by Charles H. Sawyer (1868-1954), Concord, NH, 1928. One of 35 photographs in Volume 2 of a two-volume set. Vertical rectangle. Dirt road running from foreground into forest; red and green trees on each side of road and on mountain in background; blue sky with pink clouds. Photograph is adhered at top edge to larger piece of gray paper, creating a 1/8" border. Gray paper is adhered at top edge to heavy paper album page. Titled in pencil below photograph, "Mountain Pass, Lost River". Signed in pencil below photograph, at right, "Sawyer".
