- Hand-colored photograph of Paradise Falls at Lost River Gorge, NH, by Charles H. Sawyer (1868-1954), Concord, NH, 1928. One of 35 photographs in Volume 2 of a two-volume set. Vertical rectangle. View of water falling over granite ledges with conifers and a birch tree above; ladder and wooden walkway at top. Photograph is adhered at top edge to larger piece of gray paper, creating a 1/8" border. Gray paper is adhered at top edge to heavy paper album page. Titled in pencil below photograph, "Paradise Falls, Lost River". Signed in pencil below photograph, at right, "Sawyer".
