- Hand-colored photograph of Echo Lake and Cathedral Ledge, North Conway, NH, by Charles H. Sawyer (1868-1954), Concord, NH, 1928. One of 35 photographs in Volume 2 of a two-volume set. Sandy beach with tire tracks in foreground, birch tree with yellow leaves on left, big pine tree and tree with red leaves on right, lake in center with Cathedral Ledge beyond it on left, and blue sky with pink and yellow clouds. Photograph is adhered at top edge to larger piece of gray paper, creating a 1/8" border. Gray paper is adhered at top edge to heavy paper album page. Titled in pencil below photograph, "A Glimpse of Cathedral Ledge No. Conway". Signed in pencil below photograph, at right, "Sawyer".
