View looking north to Franconia Notch. Blue-gray river with rocky shores in foreground, green and red trees in middle ground, purple Franconia Range on right, Franconia Notch in center distance, Cannon Mountain and Kinsman Ridge on left, and blue sky with white and pink clouds. Photograph is adhered at top edge to larger piece of gray paper, creating a 1/8" border. Gray paper is adhered at top edge to heavy paper album page. Titled in pencil below photograph, "Franconia Mountains + the Pemigewasset". Signed in pencil below photograph, at right, "Sawyer".
