- Hand-colored photograph of Twin Mountain and Ammonoosuc River, NH, by Charles H. Sawyer (1868-1954), Concord, NH, 1928. One of 35 photographs in Volume 1 of a two-volume set. Blue river in foreground, rocky shore on left, green meadows on each side, elm trees on right, red and green trees in distance, purple mountains in background, and blue sky with pink clouds; trees and sky reflected in river. Photograph is adhered at top edge to larger piece of gray paper, creating a 1/8" border. Gray paper is adhered at top edge to heavy paper album page. Titled in pencil below photograph, "Twin Mountain + the Ammonoosuc". Signed in pencil below photograph, at right, "Sawyer".
