- Hand-colored photograph of Mount Chocorua, NH, by Charles H. Sawyer (1868-1954), Concord, NH, 1928. One of 35 photographs in Volume 1 of a two-volume set. View of Mount Chocorua looking north from hill overlooking Chocorua Lake. Green field in foreground; red, yellow, and green trees surrounding blue lake below; green hills rising to bare summit in distance; and blue sky with white and pink clouds. Photograph is adhered at top edge to larger piece of gray paper, creating a 1/8" border. Gray paper is adhered at top edge to heavy paper album page. Titled in pencil below photograph, "Mt. Chocorua + Lake". Signed in pencil below photograph, at right, "Sawyer".
