- Hand-colored photograph of Lake Winnipesaukee, NH, by Charles H. Sawyer (1868-1954), Concord, NH, 1928. One of 35 photographs in Volume 1 of a two-volume set. View of Lake Winnipesaukee from open hill above the Weirs. Green field in foreground, green and red trees below, uncolored farm buildings between field and trees, uncolored Weirs buildings and docks on left, blue lake, green and blue hills in distance, and blue sky with white clouds. Photograph is adhered at top edge to larger piece of gray paper, creating a 1/8" border. Gray paper is adhered at top edge to heavy paper album page. Titled in pencil below photograph, "Overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee at the Weirs". Signed in pencil below photograph, at right, "Sawyer".
