- Pin. Silver star with red enamel center, with pair of wings above. Belonged to Hibbert V. Miles (1915-2001) of Amherst, NH. Embossed mark on reverse, "SAAO" in an arrowhead shape. Straight pin and removable clasp on back; clasp stamped "PAT. NOS. / 2308412 2308424".

- Belonged to Master Sergeant Hibbert Vaughn Miles (1915-2001) of Amherst, NH. He was inducted into the U.S. Army Air Forces in 1942. He was an Administrative Specialist serving at several air bases in the U.S., then, in 1944, in the China-Burma-India theater and in the Marianas Islands. He received an honorable discharge in 1945. He operated a service station in Milford, NH, before and after the war.
