- Candlestand. Made by Alejandro de la Cruz (1924-1990), Canterbury, NH. Mahogany. Shaker-influenced design. Turned, tapering central post. Convex tripod base. Circular top with narrow band of light-colored inlay around perimeter, 1.25" from edge. Incised maker's mark on underside of top: "A CRUZ".
