- Tool, foundry. One of seven tools for sand casting. Cast brass. Cylindrical section with smooth outer surface. One end of this section is slightly rounded; other end straight with flat wall across it, 0.45" high. Behind end wall, cast vertical stub handle, quite rough and unfinished, as is inside surface of cylinder.
