- Description:
- Tool, foundry. One of seven tools for sand casting. Brass. Shaft slightly oval, 0.2" diam. At one end, shaft flares to straight end with jagged top edge and smoothly-molded bottom edge. At other end, shaft flares into straight shallow trough with parallel sides. Trough section approximately 2.1" long. Inside surface of trough is slightly rough; outside surface is smooth; end straight with slightly rounded corners.
