- Given to donor by Alice Cosgrove, who designed the New Hampshire Marine Memorial. The buttons were given to those who donated to the Marine Memorial Fund. The memorial was erected at Hampton Beach, NH, in 1957. It honors all New Hampshire military service members who died at sea in warfare.
