View of blue and green river in foreground; green, red, and orange trees on each side; some birch treees on left; snow-covered mountain in background; and blue sky with white and gray clouds. Photograph is adhered at top edge to larger piece of gray paper, creating a 1/8" border. Gray paper is adhered at top edge to heavy paper album page. Titled in pencil below photograph, "Mt. Lafayette + Gale River". Signed in pencil below photograph, at right, "Sawyer".
