Normandie pattern glassware, also popularly known as "Bouquet and Lattice," was manufactured from 1933 to 1939 by the Federal Glass Company of Columbus, OH. The company made inexpensive pressed and mold-etched patterns in glass during the Great Depression. The company closed in 1980. A limited amount of Normandie was made in the "Sunburst," an imitation carnival glass, created by spraying iridescent amber onto patterned crystal ware and then firing it. Most of the Normandie pattern ware was produced in pink, amber, green, and crystal. Large amounts of Normandie in the Sunburst color were sold to the Great Northern Products Company for distribution as premiums at theaters.
