- Military coat, part of Civil War uniform of Capt. George F. Goodwin (1836-1864) of Somersworth, NH, Company D, 5th New Hampshire Regiment. Dark blue wool. Nine brass buttons on front, with eagle and "I" in shield. Three smaller brass buttons on each cuff. Three brass buttons on back (fourth one missing). Captain's insignia on each shoulder. Black lining.
