- Quilt pattern, "Compass" or "Hickory Leaf." Machine-printed figured cotton fabric of various colors. Pattern displays four blocks of different colors and echos "Compass" or "Hickory Leaf" pattern on obverse via use of fabric remnants. Each block has a scalloped square in the center with a fabric crescent opposing each scallop and a leaf at each corner. Fabric glued to pencil drawn pattern on discolored off-white poster board. Handwritten notes above pattern (see Notes). Second of two patterns (a,b), first on obverse (see Object ID 1968.059.032 a).
