Seated figure of woman in gray dress, holding white handkerchief; black hair with long curls on sides and coiled braids on back; brown eyes. Head attached to neck with spring. Round black base with white lettering on front: "MOTHER OF THANKSGIVING". White lettering on back of base: "SARAH JOSEPHA HALE". Printed paper label adhered to bottom of base: "THE BOBBLEHEAD LLC / (816) 737-9507 / Phone / (816) 737-3603 / Fax / www.thebobblehead.com". Printed gold sticker on bottom of base: "Made in / China".
