- Badge, Portsmouth, NH, 300th anniversary, 1923. Circular cast bronze medallion with laurel wreath around perimeter. Portsmouth city seal on obverse: "CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, N.H. / SETTLED-1623 / INCORPORATED-1849." Image of Portsmouth waterfront in center. On reverse of medallion: "300TH / ANNIVERSARY / PORTSMOUTH,N.H. / AUGUST 19-23. / 1923 / WH.CO. NEWARK.N.J." Medallion suspended from rectangular brass nameplate with a beige silk ribbon. Printed paper label inserted in nameplate: "EXECUTIVE"; covered with celluloid. Pin on back of nameplate.
