Portrait of an unknown woman, attributed to Mary Aubin Harris (1864-1952), 1880-1920. Charcoal crayon on paper. Head and shoulder study of woman; side view; wavy hair pulled back in loose bun at back of head; white dress shirt with collar; knotted tie; tailored jacket. Reverse: frontal view of female nude with bowed head and hands clasped under stomach. Watermark: "MBM", left border, center. Probably study from art school classes at Packer Institute in Brooklyn, NY. Unframed.
