Center foreground, only gable roof visible with rounded window. Smoke stack right middle ground. Tower and two wings in the Second Empire style middle and background. Signed lower right: "Methuen MASS / M. CANNON S. / 1973." On reverse in watercolor: " METHUEN MASS / by M. CANNON S / 1973", and in ink: "Methuen, Mass".
