- Drawing of Contoocook Mills, Hillsborough, NH, by Marian Cannon Schlesinger (1912-2017), 1973. Ink and wash on paper. Large, three-story, flat-roof building with one and one-half story addition to left with a truncated gambrel roof; building is covered with gray wash. Another building in right background with two towers and cupola. Smokestack and smaller wooden buildings in left background. Signed, in pencil, lower right: "Hillsborough, NH / M. Cannon S.", and in ink below: "Hillsborough, N.H". On reverse, in watercolor: "Hillsborough N.H. / by M. Cannon S. / 1973".
