- Soda Bottle. Boynton Bottling Works, Portsmouth NH. Cylindrical, light green aqua glass, machine made, crown cap finish, embossed lettering. Shoulder and base wider than sides. Side seams extend over lip. Seam around top of base and under finish. Slight circular depression on base. Lettering on front shoulder: "BON TON SODA", just above base on front: "CONTENTS 7 1/2 FLU. OZS. / BOYNTON BOTTLING WORKS". Lettering on back shoulder: "SODA", just above base: "BOTTLE PAT'D NOV. 6, 1923", on bottom edge: "4266A ROOT 26". Embossed on bottom: "PORTSMOUTH / N. H."
