- Installed in the clock tower of the Concord Board of Trade building on North Main Street in 1873. Operated with steel bell (1994.058) until the tower was taken down in 1951. The clock and bell were removed from Concord and not discovered until the 1980s. Most of the clock parts were located by Duncan McGowan and returned to Concord, where they were delivered to Mitchell & Bosworth, clock repairers. Ownership of the clock was transferred to Concord Regional Development Corp. and then to NHHS in 1995. In July 1997, NHHS hired Balzer Family Clock Works of Freeport, ME, to restore the clock. It was installed in the new street-level clock tower on Main Street in 1998, and started running 12/17/1998.
