- Compote. Colorless blown glass with red overlay. Rounded bowl with downturned, curved edge and scalloped rim. Polychrome and gold enamel flowers and leaves painted on exterior of edge. Bowl attached to square, silver plated, pressed metal base. Square rococo baluster stem with stepped scrolled foot. "VII" stamped on bottom of foot.
