- Saltshaker. Blue pressed glass. Ten-sided tapered, cylindrical body with sunburst in bottom; round band around base and two round bands around neck beneath short threaded neck. Domed threaded britannia cap with fourteen holes in top, surmounted by urn-shaped finial; long iron agitator attached to inside of cap. Text stamped on cap, "Alden Salt Caster Co., Boston, Mass. Pat. Dec. 25, 1877."
