- Description:
- Veil, christening, made by Clara Osgood Jordan (1913-1994) for her children. Cotton tulle edged with cotton lace "spiders", picot. Silk satin ribbon around crown and across head, front to back, elastic inside back of crown. Cloth flowers with cloth-covered metal stems attached to ribbon in front and on sides. Ribbon, elastic and flowers hand sewn to veil.
