- Description:
- Cape, nurse's. Navy blue wool exterior with red wool lining. Stand-up collar with "C.H." (Concord Hospital) in gold embroidered block letters. Hook and eye closure at collar. Four large brass buttons with N.H. state seal on front held closed with two navy blue wool tabs with button holes at each end. One additional smaller tab buttoned onto inside near bottom with small brass button and small navy blue plastic button. Interior pocket. Metal chain hanger sewn on inside, near collar. Sewn onto interior of back is a red wool rectangle with gold, machine stitched, script embroidered lettering "MWallace". White tag on inside seam is printed with "UNION LABEL/ INT'L LADIES GARMENT WORKERS UNION/ AFL.CIO".
