- Description:
- Table mat, trivet, or doily. Handmade mat of plaited bundles of cotton yarns knotted together in a block design. The tops of the bundles have been knotted off on one side creating a surface of pom-poms. The center of each pom-pom is filled with white wool roving. Edges of finished fringe from bundled yarns on all four sides. Similar to 2002.637.13.
