- Shoes, woman's, high buttoned (nine). Small size. Black leather uppers. Square toes. Leather soles and heels. Side buttoned with shank buttons. Edges of the overlap scalloped. Top inside edge lined with red silk, ankle lined with white cotton and linen twill. Medium height with stacked, curved heels.
Paper label on the sole reads: " McKAY / SEW MACH. ASSOCIATION, LIC. STAMP 1 / 531604 PAT AUG 14/1860."
Penned inside are marks "B/137 2 /1587." - Material:
