- Description:
- Suitcase or bag. Modeled in the style of a carpet bag. Twill-woven block-printed wool delaine in floral pattern of red roses and violet dahlias with green ferns and leaves on brown background. Front flap opening, trimmed in light brown velvet tape with iron closure. Two metal and glass buttons, one on each side, fasten to twine loops stitched to each edge of flap. Sides and bottom covered with 2.25" wide strip of scroll-patterned black patent leather. Edges bound with 0.125" black patent leather cord. Two black leather handles; one front, one back. Plain-woven pink cotton lining.
