- Lace fragment. In shape of a cross. From the Noyes family of Boscawen, NH. Possibly intended for a bookmark. Needle or shuttle hand-tatted lace made with a red, white, and blue yarn of two-ply Z-twist cotton thread. Attached to a 2.5" three-ply braid with a tassel on the end.
