- Bonnet, infant's. White linen, head band pieced in center. Finer 1" white mull/linen ruffle around face (repaired and in poor condition). Crown gathered onto head band with delicate white pineapple embroidery at back neck. Gathered at back with tape drawstring.

- All materials from the attic of the Burpee homestead in New London, a neighbor of the donor. The Burpee family has been in this home since 1817.
