- Cap, infant's. Tiny white, very fine linen (?) cotton with ruffled border at face and chin. 0.4" center inset seam. 0.9" front ruffle. Strip of openwork and French knot embroidery over crown. Drawstring at back neck edge. Narrow ties attached at chin edge. Handsewn.

- Baby cap of Margaret Grant English Tibbetts, b. April 24, 1825, d. Jan. 23, 1874 at Pequaket (Tamworth), NH. She was married to Phineas H. Tibbetts, Dec. 28, 1845. Phineas was born in New Hampshire, Aug. 14, 1822, d. at Tamworth Iron Works, NH, Sept. 24, 1885.
