- Description:
- Dress, child's. Red wool, challis, square, low neck with gathering string inside. Long sleeves with narrow cap trimmed with narrow black velvet ribbon and laced with fine black silk cord and tassel. Cuffs, waistband, and skirt also trimmed with black velvet ribbon. Bodice pleated to waistband, lined with white cotton. Full skirt shirred onto waistband. Opened down back. Black velvet ribbon trim; hand sewn bodice cotton lined. Six hooks and eyes at back. Handsewn.
