- Susan Chadwick Burnham was first married to Henry Chadwick, by whom she had a daughter, Mary Chadwick Howe (b.1804), and then to William Burnham of Gonic. Adelaide B. Pearce (b.1862) was the granddaughter of Mary Chadwick Howe and the mother of the donor.
