- Towel of machine-woven linen with a small diamond spot weave. Three stripes at each end are printed and are now faded to a pink color. Sides are selvedge; top and bottom edges are narrow-hemmed by hand. Stenciled mark near center at one end: "Mary C. Hopkinson."
