- Description:
- Laundry bag embroidered with redwork (red cotton worked in outline stitch) in a design of two children in loose frocks pulling linens out of a large basket. A flap covering the top opening is embroidered "LAUNdry BAg" in stylized letters resembling vines. A casing is stitched across the top so that the bag could be hung from a rod or cord. The edges are bound with red bias tape, which is machine-stitched.
