- Cloth fragment. Berlin work, petit point or needlepoint on canvas. Chinoiserie of a man carrying parakeets on each end of a stick, centered between two palm trees with water and mountains in background. Continental stitched on cotton canvas ground with two-ply S-twist worsted wool yarns in yellow, green, red, pink, blue, black, orange, and brown. Motif measures 7" x 12.5".
