Uniform, WAVES, worn by Rachel Morrison, Keene, NH, lieutenant junior grade, 1943, including jacket (.1) skirt, (.2) and pair of shoes, (.3).

.1 Jacket. Dark blue wool, fully lined, waist length. Two exterior faux pockets, two interior pockets. Four button front closure. Buttons marked "SUPERIOR / QUALITY". Patches on jacket collar, stripes near bottom of sleeves. Patches round, dark blue with embroidered white anchor and light blue propeller. Two light blue stripes: one wide, one narrow (rank of commissioned officer, lieutenant, junior grade). Patches above stripes: round, dark blue with light blue 5-point star. Name label on neck interior, "RACHEL MORRISON".

.2 Skirt. Dark blue wool, not lined, knee length. Left side zipper and two-button closure. Two front pockets. Military label, black on white cotton, "W.A.V.E.S. / NAME ___ / RATE ___ / CONTRACT NO. 101". Name label on back interior, "RACHEL MORRISON".
