- Military uniform. Dark navy blue broadcloth greatcoat. Double-breasted, 8 gilt buttons, grouped in twos, on each side. Black velvet collar and cuffs. Buttons stamped "D. Evans Co. Attleboro, Mass." Padded fronts, black lining, finely quilted fronts. Two pockets at back. Diamond-shaped pin on front with heart and maltese cross in center, and lettered "12 N H V".
