- Towel. Fragment of a linen damask tablecloth; 19th century. Cut down and hemmed by machine later in order to make a table runner or towel. The woven design consists of a partial cluster of flowers, leaves, and melon-type fruits or vegetables. Diamond chain border design along one edge.
