- Chemise. Heavy white linen plainweave with narrow yoke closed by two buttons in front. Cap sleeves. Picot trim around neckline. Slit down back with two buttons. Gathered in front and back under yoke. Small rectangular box in center front of yoke, hiding small pleat. Knee-length. Hand sewn, with some machine stitching. Interesting side seams.
