- Reverse painting on glass, by Esther Smith Weeks (1903-1992), Gilford, NH. House by a lake with boat sailing by; road in foreground. House is white with red and blue roofs, and is under a large tree. Scene features fences, rocks, blue mountains, yellow horizon, and blue sky. 0.75" yellow border (undecorated). Note on discarded cardboard backing: "Reverse Painting - Man in Sail Boat - Red Roofed House.... Used ever so many times by E. Weeks. Stephanie Gamble has one of the last ones". Included are instructions and two patterns -- ink on mylar, one with painted border.
