- 10" Girl Skier, 1950s. Felt head, felt-wrapped neck, muslin body. Simple painted face, large blue eyes, smudged mouth. Yellow hair in braids protruding from navy blue ski cap with multicolored pompom and with chin strap. Red poplin cotton pullover jacket with blue & white checked collar, tan ski pants, black felt mittens with chamois palms, shiny reddish brown ski boots with yellow laces and hard soles. White paper number tag attached to jacket, "235". Signature on back of body, "Annalee". Remnants of ski poles in each hand. Paper tag with doll has handwritten notation, "Early - Probably 1956 - ski girl. Red Parka, baggy tan ski Pants - "buns" - gold braided yarn hair - Face needs rePairs. Skis & Poles missing. Chamois gloves. Annalee collection."
