Three-Doll Vignette, c.1963. Three skier dolls, lounging on a wooden board, with pillows and skis attached. 10" Boy Skier Doll, c.1963 (.A): Doll sitting with legs curled under board. Felt body, felt-wrapped neck. Printed and painted face, black eyes, smiling open mouth. Wearing blue and rust cotton shirt, light brown cotton ski pants, yellow felt mittens, pink & white striped stocking cap, and black ski boots with red laces. Hole in each boot sole. Woven label, white rayon with red text, sewn to back: "U.S.A. / Annalee R C 1963 / Mobilitee Doll / Inc. R / MEREDITH, N.H." Signature on back of pants "Annalee". 10" Girl Skier Doll, c.1963 (.B): Doll is lying on stomach with head and feet in the air, attached to board with looped wire. Felt body, felt-wrapped neck. Printed and painted face, closed eyes, smiling open mouth. Wearing rust and yellow/brown cotton shirt, yellow cotton ski pants, yellow felt mittens, tan fur hat, and black ski boots with black wooden soles and red laces. Woven label, white rayon with red text, glued to shirt: "U.S.A. / Annalee R C 1963 / Mobilitee Doll / Inc. R / MEREDITH, N.H." Signature on back of pants, "Annalee". 10" Girl Skier Doll, c.1963 (.C): Figure lying down on its side, attached to board with adhesive. Body lying across edge of fur pillows and skis, which are glued to board. Felt body, felt-wrapped neck. Printed and painted face, blue eyes, mouth ajar. Wearing cotton shirt (white, black, gray, light blue), beige ski pants, black felt mittens, light blue fur hat, black ski boots with gray soles and red laces. Hole in each sole. Woven label, red on white, sewn into shirt: "U.S.A. / Annalee R C 1963 / Mobilitee Doll / Inc. R / MEREDITH, N.H." Signature on back of pants, "Annalee". Base Board (.D): Plywood, dull finish. Corner chipped. Affixed to board are one pair of skis (7" x 0.4") and a stack of fur hats or pillows. One pillow has woven label, "U.S.A. / Annalee R C 1961 / Mobilitee Doll / Inc. R / MEREDITH, N.H."
